Dear St'a7mes Families,
I hope this message finds you well.
I want to remind everyone that tomorrow is a Professional Development Day for our staff. All of our Education Assistants will be participating in a workshop titled "Regulate to Communicate," led by our wonderful Speech and Language Pathologist, Diana Lockett. We are incredibly grateful for her expertise and guidance.
Looking ahead, please note that next Thursday is Halloween. We kindly ask that students do not wear masks as part of their costumes or bring any items that resemble weapons.
My apologies again to families who tried to attend the virtual PAC meeting. I have worked out the technical difficulties and would like to reschedule our PAC meeting to November 13th at 6pm. To make the meeting as accessible as possible this will be a hybrid meeting. Those who wish to attend in person can come to the school. Those who wish to attend virtually a link will be sent out closer to the date. Thanks again for your understanding.
I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge some outstanding students who have exemplified our school values this week. Roxy demonstrated tímit by being an engaged and kind student. Jeremiah showed wanáxws by carrying himself in a good way and with respect. Lastly, Jaedyn displayed chén̓chenstway through her positive contributions in the classroom, making everyone feel welcome.
Have a great weekend.
Cory Hartling
Principal, St'a7mes School
