PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE 

 

Dear St'a7mes Families, 

I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our St'a7mes students who demonstrated remarkable leadership during Monday's Reconciliation Ceremony. Their leadership was absolutely inspiring. These students are paving the way for important conversations and actions, and our school community is immensely proud of their efforts.

As a reminder, please note that October 9th will be an early dismissal day at 2:00 PM in preparation for our Parent/Teacher night. Bussing will be provided to students. I encourage all families to attend with their children, as this is a wonderful opportunity to share the learning and growth that is happening in our classrooms.

Additionally, we have a date change for our Parent Advisory Council Meeting. To better accommodate as many families as possible, the meeting will now be held on October 16th at 6:00 PM. This will be a virtual meeting, and you can join us using the following link: PAC Meeting Link.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we are making a positive impact on our students’ lives.

Finally, I want to acknowledge and honour the following students. These students showed commitment to our school values this week: 

Sydney - Sydney showed great tímit this week by being a leader in language and culture. 

Kayden - Kayden showed wanáxws this week by listening and really thinking about the topics in class. 

Keaton - Keaton showed chén̓chenstway by lifting up those around him by being welcoming and inclusive.

Parent Teacher Interviews/Student Led Conferences and Early Dismissal
 
On Wednesday, October 9th we will be dismissing students early at 2:00pm and from 3:00pm -6:00pm we will be hosting Student Led Conferences for Cultural Journeys families and Parent Teacher Interviews for Learning Expeditions families. 
 

Booking Instructions:

To make a booking please click on the link following –Parent Teacher Interviews and Student Led Conferences Booking Page and follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on LEx Parent Teacher Interviews or CJ Student Led Conferences
  2. Select October 9th.
  3. Find your child’s teacher from the drop down arrow (for Ms. Lindsey and Ms. Kye's class, please select Ms. Kye as the teacher). Please DO NOT select “Anyone” as the program will randomly select a teacher for you.
  4. Select a time
  5. Add your information and your child’s name.
  6. Click book

You will receive a confirmation email once your booking is complete.

 

We really hope you will be able to make an appointment. If you are unable to meet on this date/time, please reach out to your child’s teacher to arrange an alternate date.
