Weekly Update - April 8th

Good Afternoon Families -

First of all, I’d like to officially notify you that on Monday the district office officially announced that I have been officially assigned as the Principal of St’a7mes School effective immediately (Monday April 4th, 2022). I am so excited to have the position officially. I love our school community and believe in the work we do here. It’s important to me to have fulfilling work, and so I am delighted with this decision.

KC in the Sxwi7shin class reminded me it’s Bucket-Filling Friday. Carole McCloud has written the book called “Have you filled a bucket today?” and has several supporting resources for teachers and caregivers as guides for daily happiness for kids.   It’s a great book to add to your home book collection. Please see the webpage if you are unfamiliar and curious about the bucket filling movement. https://bucketfillers101.com/

I hope you all have a weekend that ‘fills your bucket’.

Sincerely,

Alysa
