St'a7mes school staff spent the September 28th Professional Development day looking at ways to enhance student learning and agency. We started by inspecting assessment; specifically how to build rubrics for learning and as learning in a collaborative process with students. We then turned our attention to facilitating democratic discussions. Finally we examined collaborative learning rounds as a tool for uplifting learning. We are excited to transfer our new ideas and skills to the classroom and see how our learning today impacts our students' learning experience.
