A Thank You to Ms. Kye and Our Climbing Volunteers

We would like to thank Ms. Kye for the significant amount of work she put into creating this year's climbing opportunity for our students. From fundraising and planning to coordinating logistics and connecting with partners, she invested a great deal of time and effort to make this experience possible.

These types of opportunities require a great deal of work behind the scenes, and we are grateful for her commitment to providing meaningful experiences for our students.

We would also like to thank the climbing guides who volunteered their time and expertise to support our students throughout the experience. 

Lost and Found Reminder

As we move into the final week and a half of school, we encourage families to take a moment to check our lost and found for any missing items.

Any items that remain unclaimed after June 26th will be donated to Pearls.

Looking Ahead: Class Organization for Next Year

As mentioned in a previous communication, class organization at St'a7mes School can vary from year to year. As a small program of choice, our class structures are influenced by the number of students entering and leaving various grade levels.

At this time, we are anticipating a larger group of students in the middle years (Grades 8 and 9), which may impact the organization of adjacent grade groupings. We will have a clearer understanding of enrollment numbers later in the summer and will communicate additional information regarding class organization at that time.

If you are aware that your child will be moving on from St'a7mes School next year, we would greatly appreciate receiving that information as soon as possible. Early communication assists us significantly with planning and staffing.

Community Circle Update

Our final Community Circle of the school year will be postponed until the fall. We look forward to gathering again as a community to reflect on and celebrate the many strengths of our wonderful school.

Tl'a7shen – June 22

Families and community members are warmly invited to join us for our upcoming Tl'a7shen  on Monday, June 22.

• Lunch will begin at 12:30 p.m.
• Honouring and celebrating individuals who have made meaningful contributions to our school community will begin at 1:00 p.m.

We look forward to sharing this special time together.

Closing Circle – June 24

Families are also invited to attend our Closing Circle on Wednesday, June 24, beginning at approximately 2:15 p.m.

During this gathering we will:

• Honour our Grade 6 students as they reach the halfway point of their K–12 educational journey.
• Celebrate students who will be moving on from St'a7mes School next year.
• Reflect together on another meaningful year of learning and growth.
