Supportive Partners Connected in Learning; Family Homework from the Principal

We come from good people. We use our strengths to support one another; we are all connected.

Our fire alarm today was a good reminder to us about fire safety. Luckily today’s alarm was due to burning food in a microwave. We are especially wanting to be alert this time of year as we are entering forest fire seasonTeens and pre-teens especially like to engage in exploratory play with fire If your children are this age, it would be a good time to talk to them about fire play and when and where are appropriate times and places to be engaging with fire.

Information and Reminders:

Bus riders

A notice came out from the district this week to register for ridership for next year.  Students at our school are eligible riders. Please register your children for next year.

In addition, if your child rides the bus, they will have received a notice from the school about conduct on the bus this week. Please check in with your children to review the expectations about how we act on the bus.  This information is very important because we are respectful people and because we want to take care of the safety of all of our school communityWhen we are respectful, then we are safeThank you for reviewing this message with your children.
